History has it, these timeless water gems have been sought after by the royalty world over for their ultimate elegance and sophistication. They have been always considered fit for the kings, queens, nizaams, begums, and aristocrats.

In Greek mythology, pearls are proclaimed to be tears of joy shed by the goddess Aphrodite. Ancient Egyptians associated pearls with the goddess of healing and life, Isis.

Pearls are an exemplary example of nature’s way of creating something spectacular out of a minor disturbance. The oyster, deep in the sea, starts to cover a minor disturbance in its shell with nacre. And this process continues, till this disturbance turns into a glistening, smooth, luxurious pearl.
